No one “has” OCD.
OCD is a trance state.
You’re either in the trance - or you’re not.
Recovery isn’t about getting rid of the OCD. It’s about learning how to
get out of the trance.
And getting good at it.
The OCD trance is a dissociative state, which means -
You are not in your body. You’re in a delusion that is driven by fear.
There is no OCD in the body. Only pure, raw feeling.
As you learn to work with the body, instead of trying to use the mind to control your feelings, the body can actually process the stress response which has been fueling your OCD.
This takes work, courage, and a sense of adventure - and it’s a skill that can change your life.
